Gate Information

Access to Butler Mountain Highlands (and Estates) is controlled by an electric gate. The gate can be opened by any of the following methods:

1. By using the Call Box at the gate: find the last name of the person you wish to visit, and press the call button. The house will be called, you may converse with the occupant, and they can press a key on their phone to open the gate. You must use the gate phone- calling from your cell doesn’t work to open the gate!

2. By entering the assigned gate code. Every resident or lot owner can obtain a gate code for their use. These codes aren’t to be shared with others- they are for your exclusive use. You may obtain specific gate codes for contractors while your home is under construction.

3. By using an optional remote. Any lot owner can request one or more remotes, which can be used to conveniently open the gate. There is a cost for these remotes.
